There are several things that made using DJ Granite and Marble a rewarding experience. Derek takes the time to listen to you. He is personable. He’s knowledgeable about the material and their fabrication. His prices are very reasonable. When he comes to deliver and install the material, it is performed professionally. He is a fine craftsman and it shows. Lastly, prior to leaving our house, he made certain that the workspace had been cleaned.

Derek did an amazing job installing our new
countertops! We live in Valparaiso In and could not find quartzite near by. It was no problem for him to do our installation. He has beautiful white and gray
quartzite. I highly recommend DJ marble and

We had our kitchen tops done by DJ. He took his time to explain to us everything we needed to know about tops. This guy knows his stuff. Great install and on time.

We just recently had a small chip in the corner. I called him up and he came out next day. Repaired the tops and walked out. He thanked me for being a customer. He would not expect any money for his time!!! I was like Wow!!! Great guy. Thanks again!!! My wife is so happy.

I love the counter that DJ installed for me. He drove to Wisconsin to measure and install. It is one of the reasonable prices I could find. The counters look great and he was flexible with my schedule. He did a great job with explaining my options to me and was very professional. I would definitely use and recommend DJ in the future.

White Kitchens are all the rage now

The look of marble countertops can be achieved with Quartzite but with the qualities of granite as far as hardness.

Granite is an igneous rock and is more abundantly found than quartzite. Quartzite consists of a larger volume of quartz material created under heat and pressure combined, quartzite is formed from sandstone and quartz empty grains of sandstone are stuffed with quartz. Quartzite is actually harder than Granite. On the Mohs scale of hardness, 1 to 10 with 10 being the hardest, granite measures in at 6-6.5, and quartzite at approximately 7. Quartzite is recommended to be sealed due to areas of sandstone are more prone to etching. Sealing all natural stone is recommended. We are a direct importer of this material.
